I'll stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
