Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.
A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.
Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.
The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
